Roy Keane made things awkward in the Sky Sports studio as he was asked about Erling Haaland on Sunday.

Keane and Haaland have been exchanging words in recent weeks, with the former Manchester United midfielder labelling him a 'League Two player'.

The Manchester City striker was in something of a lean spell in front of goal but ended that spectacularly on Saturday by scoring four times in their win over Wolves.

He was then asked about those comments by Keane, and said to Norwegian broadcaster Viaplay: "I don't really care that much about that man, so that's all right."

Haaland looked fuming when he was substituted by Pep Guardiola, seemingly not happy with finding the net just the four times.

The Man City man was mentioned on the Sky Sports coverage ahead of the Liverpool vs Tottenham game, and Keane unleashed a typical response.

He said: “We saw Haaland being brought off yesterday, behaving like a spoilt brat, but because they win the game and he’s scoring goals it’s almost forgotten about.

Host Dave Jones said: “Spoilt brat, that’s okay if you score four goals?”

Keane replied: “Not really…”

There was a long pause from Keane as he stared at Jones, which led to fellow pundit Daniel Sturridge bursting out laughing.

The former Republic of Ireland international famously injured Alf-Inge Haaland, Erling's dad, in a horror challenge in a Manchester derby.

Clearly there's no love lost between the Keanes and Haalands.
