Arsenal fan Piers Morgan taunted Chelsea supporters when he phoned talkSPORT to revel in a 5-0 win.

Morgan joined the Sports Breakfast show to speak to hosts Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist and was still giddy from watching his side destroy Chelsea at the Emirates.

Kai Havertz, who joined the Gunners from Chelsea last summer in a £65m transfer, scored twice and talkTV host Morgan was keen to let Blues fans know it on Wednesday morning by belting out the Kai Havertz song.

He started somberly: "Morning, gentlemen. I want to start with a very serious statement about what happened last night that will resonate with Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans.

"It is my kind of summary of what I think is the main take away from last night's game is, and it goes like this.

"It is a four-line statement, it goes like this: Tsamina mina, eh, eh. Waka waka, eh, eh. £60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again!"

The Shakira song the Arsenal fans serenade Havertz with is the 2010 World Cup anthem she sang and is used to remind Chelsea about what they are missing.

Arsenal's crushing victory has put them three points clear of second-placed Liverpool, who play on Wednesday night against Everton, and four ahead of Manchester City, who have two games in hand.

However, Morgan believes the victory over Chelsea has given Mikel Arteta's side the ammunition to go on and win the Premier League for the first time since 2004.

He added: "[In the 2022/23 season], we collapsed about this time last year and the big fear for Arsenal fans this season - when we melted down to Villa and lost to Bayern Munich - the big fear was that we were going right back to where we were last year.

"I have got to say, the amount of Chelsea fans who sent me choking memes and gifs all week - it's happening again, all that sort of stuff.

"And so I think [during the Chelsea win] every Arsenal fan was absolutely jubilant and rather than continuing to choke after a very difficult week, we rallied back in such spectacular fashion.

"We gave Chelsea the biggest stuffing we have ever given them in our entire lives and we look absolutely magnificent.

"Look, we are four points clear of City, right? They have got to catch up.

"The idea that they are going to get win after win after win in their last six games…

"Brighton away, very tough. Nottingham Forest, battling to avoid relegation, Wolves and Fulham, home and away, both very good mid-table teams, Tottenham away, they might be battling for a European place, West Ham at home at the end.

"The idea that they get win after win after win six times - not happening.

"We are going to win our last four games, City are going to choke and draw one of theirs and we, after 20 years of pain, are going to be Premier League champions!"

Many have made City the favourites to go on and win the Premier League for a fourth time in a row despite being four points behind Arsenal.

The Gunners lost to Aston Villa and Liverpool were defeated by Crystal Palace to open up a chance for Pep Guardiola's men to overtake them.
